About The Artist/Artwork
"I'm a proud Wodi Wodi woman from Wreck Bay. In this piece I painted symbols which I feel represent me and the South Coast.
I painted waterholes and Pipis scattered amongst each other. The Pipis are very common down home and are often used to make pipi soup.
The bright blue circles are waterholes and are important to me because they represent sacred sites of the south coast. These symbols include all the Y colours to represent YMCA." - Allirra Moore
